Nancy Tong is the first Asian-American elected official in Brooklyn serving as the Female Democratic District Leader of the 47th Assembly District. She also holds the title of New York Democratic State Committeewoman. Furthermore, in 2015, she was elected as the Co-President of the United Progressive Democratic Club. She is also co-chair of the Anti Waste Transfer Station Committee.
Her husband is an aerospace engineering consultant. He has worked in civilian and military projects that help keep America safe and keeps our nation the leader in science and technology. Most of the projects he has been involved with are constantly traveling around the world, forever floating in space.
Her son graduated from Macaulay Honors College in 2016 and is currently preparing for medical school.
